Nominations are open until February 11th for the AAUP Executive Council Elections. Click here for the Nomination Form.
The positions up for election this year are:
- Treasurer (duties of the Treasurer)
- Secretary (duties of the Secretary)
- At-Large Member (one seat; duties of the At-Large Member)
- Chair, PAC Committee (duties of the PAC Committee Chair)
Monday, January 14– Nominations Open
Monday, February 11– First Round of Nominations due to the Chapter office, with announcement of initial round of nominees to immediately follow
Monday, February 26 – Deadline for submission of any additional nominees
Wednesday, February 28 – Deadline for release of final slate of nominees, along with nominee statements
Friday, March 1 @ 6AM: Electronic Balloting opens
Friday, March 15 @ noon: Electronic Balloting closes
Ballots will be opened as soon as possible after voting closes

The AAUP’s Annual Conference on the State of Higher Education includes the annual business meetings of the AAUP and the AAUP Collective Bargaining Congress.
Here is the schedule for the delegate election:
- February 15, 2018 – Mail out the postcards to members home addresses announcing the election
- March 1, 2018 – Announce the election via email
- March 8, 2018 – Open the nominations
- March 29, 2018 – Close the nominations
- March 30, 2018 – Email Candidate Statements
- April 1, 2018 – Voting begins
- April 10, 2018 – Voting closes
