Ballots for this year’s national Officer and Council election were mailed March 7 to the home addresses of eligible voting members (for eligible members with no known home address, postcards are sent to the work addresses with instructions for obtaining a ballot).

If you did not receive a ballot, e-mail your name and home address to aaup@election-america.com OR call Election-America at (888) 914-5654 with your home address. In order to be counted, ballots must be received by April 15.

Information about the election—including candidate biographies and campaign statements—is posted on the AAUP’s website at http://www.aaup.org/2016-election-information.

Balloting is underway for the AAUP-UC executive council. The nominating process is open for the associates council. Click here for more information on both elections.

Balloting for executive council is now open and will continue until Monday, March 14^th at noon. Members will receive an email from Ballotbox with instructions for accessing your ballot.  All results are recorded anonymously.

Two components are vital for a university: faculty and students. Commencement is a great opportunity for the faculty to recognize the students and acknowledge that they are the reason that we are here. It is also an opportunity to remind the administration and the board of trustees of the critical role of the faculty at the university. With these aims, I hope that all faculty will take the opportunity to attend the Spring Commencement ceremony.

Friday, April 29 at 10 a.m. – Doctoral Hooding and Master’s Recognition Ceremony
Friday, April 29 at 3 p.m. – Undergraduates for the Colleges of:  Nursing, UC Blue Ash, Allied Health Sciences, and Engineering & Applied Science
Saturday, April 30 at 9 a.m. – Undergraduates for the Colleges of Business, CECH, and CCM
Saturday, April 30 at 2 p.m. – Undergraduates for the Colleges of DAAP, UC Clermont, and A&S
